Last weekend we headed off to see Kev's parents and his brother's family up in Leicester to exchange presents. More chances to take photos, including a lovely one of the boys by the tree.
After revamping one of the trees to a 50's retro style I made this kitsch decoration from felt to hang on it.
Hannah was none too pleased as it came as a freebie with a magazine she is subscribed to, but I couldn't resist putting it together once I saw the packaging!

Day 13
This time last week I was getting over the annual Christmas works do. We went to an ex cinema that had been converted into a club. I wasn't sure what to expect but was really pleasantly surprised, we had a great night out together, and lots of singing and dancing made the evening go by in a flash!
I took lots of photos, so the JYC page turned into one 6x8 page and a 6x6 DLO to add the extra pictures.

Day 11 and 12
Term has ended at last, just need to get the house ready for the 14 for dinner next Thursday. Managed to pick up Katie's Latin shoes today, so all shopping done. Need to put together a list to keep me organised and hope all is done by lunchtime Wednesday!
More JYC page, a few to share...
Day 11
A nice quick page about gift wrapping, I just made a little parcel used a favourite paper from this year as part of the page.
Day 12. Harry had a non uniform day at school and had to wear a Christmas jumper and contribute to charity to take part.
Found some very old reindeer stickers in the stash to decorate this page :)

JYC Day 1
I am keeping up (promise!) but have been busy at work and not too well. So day 1 is the manifesto, where I write about what I want the journal to achieve. This year the journalling reflects the fact that both girls have left home, and as Harry and Kev only put up with my festive preparations I am very much on my own when it comes to pre-festive glee!
Indeed, as Kev got in last night he complained about the fact that two of the rooms are decorated and (as he put it), "It's only the 4th!"
Dare not draw his attention to the redecorating that has been going on here at my blog!
Ho hum!
