Swine Flu

Kev came home from work today at lunchtime with symptoms of flu. When he contacted the doc he was told that he is a presumptive case of swine flu, as there has already been a case in the school he teaches in, so he has to stay at home this week, and take his Tamiflu.
As a family we have treated the whole thing a bit lightly, but as i drove home from picking up his prescription i heard of two further deaths... it's all a bit worrying. Me and the kids have to go to school as normal unless we develop any symptoms... so watch this space, we all seem OK so far:)

Steven came home from school with a letter today, to say they have it at he's school too...

which is very worrying, as full of lots of 'very' vulnerable children...

I dunno about laughed it off, but certainly we've done the don't panic to the point of ignoring it really. Too find it on your doorstep is alarming Ann - here's hoping Kev has no more than a sweaty horrid couple of days and can then stop beins so presumptive!

Hi Ann

What at awful worry - no matter how much we laugh and joke about it!

I'm sore Kevin will be fine and will keep his germs (whatever variety) to himself.

Sparkles and hugs to you all.

Here we are on July 14th Ann and I've been wondering how your other half is, and likewise, how you and the children are doing? Still OK I hope.
