Interview update, and another page

It seemed to go OK this morning, i was one of four candidates, but unlike teaching jobs, when you find out on the day, i won't know until the end of the week at the earliest how I've done. Here is a LO i made last week for the weekly UKS challenge, which was to make a LO including something you take for granted, include a circle and some old stash.

The taking for granted theme got me thinking, and i was pleased when i came up with this idea (good job it was early in the week, or my photo might only have been of a few coppers!)

I used some stash bought at the NEC over 2 years ago, and i cut the scallop edge circle using a piece of die cut paper lurking in my stash. I had used this idea of part stamping the journalling a while back, and thought it could do with another airing, title letters are the ever useful Autumn Leaves stamps. The butterflies are Unity stamps, with a few Anitas gemstones in the centre of each one. I added the WRMK gromlets as they had a metallic coin feel to them, and make the circle stand out a little more.

I'm pleased with the page as it forms a record of my recent job woes, (and i don't think scrapbooking should always be the good news) so into my Book of Me it goes!

Am out and about with Mum tomorrow, she's feeling a lot better since her eye op a couple of weeks ago, and if i do get a job this week, i want to make the most of this time off.

Great great idea for the LO - agree with you, especially for BoM, that scrapping is a record of the journey, not just the high points. Sending positive vibes about the job.
