Is it cloudy, or is that dust...?

As i look out of the study window a very dingy day greets me, and considering today's news that all UK flights have been cancelled today due to this....

.....I'm not sure if I'm looking at cloud cover, or thick volcanic ash, courtesy of the North Atlantic rift running through Iceland.

Although i did have to laugh at a reported Tweet on Titter (get me, all high tech..:D )

Dear Iceland, We said 'Send cash'

So not much going on in the garden today, too cold!
Here is a page I made last night using Aprils Kit of the Month from Stampeezee. As you may know I'm a sucker for all things Cosmo Cricket, so when i saw that the majority of this months kit was CC, I couldn't resist. I got the idea to roll the papers to show the other side from this months Scrapbook Magazine (and if I could be bothered to go upstairs and hunt for the article I would give the original designer proper credit) the photo is of the kids on a huge inflatable slide a couple of summers ago (and the sun was shining!!) Along with the theme of the papers I included a fair amount of stitching on the page, and luckily enough it met this weeks challenge on UKS too.

Well tonight might be the evening to get the cameras out, because volcanic ash can lead to spectacular sunsets..... if the clouds clear that is!

Hope the gloom has lifted and isn't ashy! Love that tweet, how funny. The picture of your 3 so happy together is just warming, another great LO.

Great tweet Ann! Loving the page too - it's so cheerful. Thanks for the tip about tonight - can't tell here if it's cloud or ash. Pity it isn't cash!lol

Love that Twitter quote & that is one gorgeous LO...my car is covered in black bits this morning, so I think the ash reached us here in Darkest Bedfordshire overnight!!

Thanks for your comments on my home layout. Yes - you are right I should put journalling on my layout. I find it very difficult to do it and must make the effort. After looking at your blog this has given me more encouragement. I love your layout with such bright primary colours it looks such fun!! beautiful
