I was up in Lancashire today to teach a scrapbooking class to the Pink Booby 24 hour charity crop for breast cancer care. My team-mate on UKS Dawn invited me to design a page for a class back in the summer, and today was the day. The room was packed, I've never been to such a busy crop before, 4 shops, more stash than you could shake a stick at and over 50 ladies crafting away!!
This is the page I made, it is a copy of an earlier page as I had very little time to put it together after receiving the kit. The papers are by crate, and I generally wouldn't have chosen these colours, but that's the beauty of a kit, it makes you try something new. The photo is of Hannah last summer at the school fete, just after finishing her A levels, with the whole summer ahead of her.
The butterflies are stamped (Unity, Martha Stewart) and stitched down the centre so the wings can be lifted up a little and a bit of irridescent glitter glue added. Title is a Sizzix die (The Ginchiest), not sure about the trim, bit it is really cute!!
And now I need to try harder to keep this blog more up to date!!Dawn says I should give up work (as I used to be able to update every other day) but Kev isn't too impressed with that idea!

No need to give up work, just tutor and moderate / exam mark instead :) best of both worlds!
That is a beautiful page! I love the photo, and the colours that go with it so well. Well done on teaching a class - I could never do that.
Its a beautifu page, love the colour combo and those butterflies are gorgeous.
