The venue was a gorgeous Grade 1 listed cottage called Cronkhill farmhouse, we stayed in the brick service wing (left above) of the 17th century house, complete with beamed ceilings, huge rooms, wonky floors and room to sleep 14. As there were only 7 of us we had loads of space and I managed to make 3 and a bit pages for a fabric CJ, and 6 other paper layouts for my 12x12 albums.
It wasn't all scrapping either, we had a rags to riches day on Saturday, spending the daylight hours dressed as tramps, and the evening glammed up drinking champagne and eating canapes!! The best thing about Saturday was waking up to a couple of inches of snow, and seeing a fox trot past my bedroom window as the sun rose.
It felt like a fab start to the Christmas season, talking of which I will be taking part in Journal your Christmas again this year, so might upload my album ready to start tomorrow.

Wow Ann - it looks absolutely gorgeous - what a lovely place to spend the weekend, even without any scrapping!
