How to prevent stash build up....

After going to my local independent craft shop (Stampeezee in Coventry) and buying a couple of lovely papers by SEI, I think the way to avoid putting away and forgetting about new stash is to use it straight away!!! And so I made a new page today using the new papers.

The cardstock is by Core'dinations and comes ready embossed, so I just had to sand it. I got this in a set at a crop last Autumn, and have been working my way through the very lovely pack!! The title letters are not Thickers, but cut from Funky foam using this die (Abracadabra) by X cut. I was surprised to note that this really thin die will cut foam up to 3mm thick, so I used it to make my own bargain 'Thickers'... and no more hunting for letters e, a or o again!!!

All the flowers were hand cut from one side of the paper, the border was cut using a Martha Stewart punch, and most of the other bits and pieces were found lurking in my stash!!

I'm out shopping with my sister and two daughters tomorrow in Solihull, looking for a prom dress for my 16 year old. Should be fun!! OH gets to look after the boys at home :)

Love the papers and the LO Ann but doesn't using them straight away spoil the fun?lol
Great tip on the X Cut die and foam. TFS.

That's a great tip on the die Ann. Love the way you used the papers on your LO. Sorry but I have to keep my new paper packs pristine for at least a week. lol xx
