More Amy Tan

It took me ages to chop into this kit, but now I've started I just can't seem to stop!
I saw this layout ages ago, and pinned it, but could think of no way of cutting the cardstock.  Then a brainwave, I used the arrows drawing tool in Word to make a simple template, used it to draw on the back of my card and cut it out with a craft knife and a glass cutting mat.

Without an electronic cutter doing the hard work for me I could only face cutting a small section, but I do like the way it turned out! It's also a great way of using scraps of lovely papers you can't bear to part with!

The photos were of Harry last year wearing his new Converse shoes.... his feet are even bigger now!

Hey - congrats on the NEC win (I won on Scrap365 - and am going on the Friday) :-)
Love the cut-outs - it's a great effect, but no electronic machine does mean it's hard work! LOL at the feet - they'll still be growing for a while I think!
