From Boy to Man

As I made this layout I remembered back to when my son was born 14 years ago, and thinking how much he would change physically by the time he reached adulthood...

... more so than the girls who retain their soft baby skin and are facially similar to how they were as girls.

The photos were taken in the same place, a woodland country park outside Nuneaton, at the same time of year in bluebell season and how my boy has changed in just 4 years! He now towers over me at almost 6 feet tall, and facially is taking on the appearance of a man.

The layout was made using Shimelle's class on UKScrappers called Break it Down,   This layout is from the Week 1 prompts. I love the use of little stamped images diagonally scattered over the page, not something i had tried before.

If you are stuck in a scrapbooking rut, or just want to give scrapbooking a go, then why not try her class, as each prompt is a small step taken in a day.

Love the colours and the stamped embellishments. It is amazing how much he has changed, wonder what he'll look like in another 4 years?

Fab contrast! I agree that boys seem to change more dramatically than girls - who emphasise their changes with occasional bouts of excessive make-up!
