A Reminder of Sunnier Days

At the beginning of our holiday this year we took a trip out to Portland in August where one of the disused quarries has been converted into a sculpture park.

As you walk around you have to keep your eyes open as many of the sculptures are small and hidden, but with some well known sculptors work on show (such as Anthony Gormley) it is well worth a visit.
I managed to snap lots of interesting photos in the morning, as the weather held out, and this more abstract piece formed the perfect frame for a photograph of the three kids.

I made a layout using these 2 photos to go in our holiday album using some Heidi Swapp resist papers, and a touch of yellow spritz.

A few scraps from some lovely MME Sweetest Thing papers and punched butterflies finished it off....

.. along with a mixed font title and a bit of journalling.

Am feeling winter is truly on its way after the last two days of persistent rain, so looking back at these photos reminds me of the lovely sunny days in the not too distant past :)

What a brilliant page - that photo is almost 3D on it. Looks like a fun place to explore.
