Austen's Lyme

Persuasion is one of my all time favourite books, so when we went to visit Lyme last summer I looked out for anything to remind me of it.
The steps on the Cobb of course are iconic, but the old cottages on the seafront named after the sea captain characters in the story were snapped too.

Recently, my daughter's boyfriend stayed at a B&B in Lyme, and the guest book stated it was the one Austen had used on her visit.

I would love to see that next time we are there.
