Upwey

On holiday this year we had very few poor weather days, but the first of August dawned drizzly so we decided to visit a local tourist attraction at Upwey.

The tiny Dorset village has a spring that appears in a well in a set of lush gardens. The gunners were massive, I'd never seen one close up, and the rest of the garden was so lovely, not too manicured  with water running through it.

There is a cafe in the village too, but as it was closed for a private function I think we might have to go back next year!
