Merry!

Mum came over at the beginning of December to craft using Decopatch style Christmas papers. I had had these 'merry' letters sitting in the utility for over a year, waiting to be decorated.

As they were kraft underneath and I didn't  want the brown colour to show through...

I began by painting the letters with white acrylic paint. I then chose a mix of papers in colours to match my study. After cutting them into small squares and rectangles, I glued them to cover each letter. This took all day ( including an hour off to watch Strictly!)  to finish, but I am pleased with how they turned out. I added a few Nuvo drops (Tonic) to finish them off.
