A Woodland Wedding

The daughter of a good friend of ours, that we have known for over 30 years, gets married today.  She is the first of her generation among our friends to marry, the same generation as my own children.

Claire and Marc are marrying in the woods, close to dusk; their 'reception' will be around a large open camp fire and guests will camp under canvas among the trees.

Sadly, we will be returning from holiday on the day of the wedding, so will be unable to join them.

Kevin made a special ring box in the shape of an acorn, and I made a card stamped with Altenew daisies.

Beautiful card! The wedding sounds amazing! If we did that here in Georgia we would be eaten alive by monster mosquitos!
