Messing with scraps.

At last i got around to organising my new Unity stamps last night, felt a bit inspired, so out came the scrap box, and i made a few cards. The stamps are lovely, i particularly like the one called 'feel the joy'... i'd seen it on the Unity website, but as i got stung for a customs charge with my last set of stamps i've decided to stick to the Kit of the Month, which falls below the threshold for tax on imports. So i was delighted when i went into Stampeezee, and saw the stamp hanging on the shelf.. but not for long :)

I also picked up this beautiful tiara stamp, as it is so big i can see me using it on old photos of the girls, or maybe adding another prom LO to Hannah's book. Really got playing last night and did some heat embossing with it, added a few Anita gems, background stamped with Chandelier (also new) , added a sanded and embossed title made with the Big Shot, and it was done. I might use this for my sisters birthday card, as i spent so long on it.

The other 2 cards were made with stamps from the pick of the month, the new home card uses the March kit and some freebie papers from a recent mag, and the kites card uses Aprils kit of the month, and some old K&Co papers. The glossy accents made the kites twist a bit, but i like this effect, they look like they are flying.
