She has never been able to ride a bike. Really clever girl, talented in many ways, but cycling always eluded her. We found out why a few years back, when Hannah was assessed for dyslexia. Her reading was never an issue, but her spelling age was far behind it, so a friend of mine in education who specialises in this area tested her. Lo and behold she was dyslexic, ( not a surprise as Kevin is too) and from that time forward Hannah stopped worrying about her spelling so much and made enormous progress in school.
So how does this link to cycling?? Well apparently one of the signs of dyslexia is a poor sense of balance, which it seems Hannah has too, hence the difficulty on 2 wheels. So cycling at the park back in April really was a huge achievement for her, can't you tell by the beaming smile on her face!
I made the page with K&Co Remake cardstock, stamps by SU and Unity, Cosmo Cricket papers, Autumn Leaves stamped title, and lots of Glossy Accents.

Hi Ann
Love this layout and, like you, appreciate all the things my children achieve which others may take for granted.
