BIA Home book

I was challenged a while back by the scrapbookers on the DoCrafts site to make a Bind it All project, as i had it in mind to make a record of the house, this was the theme for my mini book. A week or so ago i went around the house taking photos in almost every nook and cranny, printed them really small, and this book is the result.

The cover was cut from chipboard using a template made in Word by Katie. After watching the scrapbooking programme on QVC yesterday i was reminded of the Zen garden kit i bought last year, i have used a lot (mainly for Hannah's prom LOs) but as always there was much left over. I used the adhesive silk papers to make the cover, the letters came with the kit, and as the papers are double sided i could use both sides within the book. Each room (almost) gets its own page, the headings are stamped using Doddlebug Simply Sweet mini stamps, and i added quite a bit of journalling about some of the random things found in the house.

I think this is the type of book to make every 10 years or so, to see how tastes change, after all, i love my house now, but what will i think of the bold patterned wallpaper in a decade?
