The cover was cut from chipboard using a template made in Word by Katie. After watching the scrapbooking programme on QVC yesterday i was reminded of the Zen garden kit i bought last year, i have used a lot (mainly for Hannah's prom LOs) but as always there was much left over. I used the adhesive silk papers to make the cover, the letters came with the kit, and as the papers are double sided i could use both sides within the book. Each room (almost) gets its own page, the headings are stamped using Doddlebug Simply Sweet mini stamps, and i added quite a bit of journalling about some of the random things found in the house.

WOW Ann, this is lovely. I ahve been meaning to do a mini book about our home for ages, but have not got round to it yet, but after seeing this I will make a start on it:) I love the way you have binded it on the roof:) well done.
What a lovely little book in the shape of a house! Like the idea of repeating it every decade...
This is lovely
I love how you have done the front cover
Great book Ann - I too love the idea of doing it every 10 years or so - our tastes do change (as does technology!)
