Well i don't have a proper job, but i am going to meet with a supply agency (the one Kev used a couple of years ago) on Friday. I won't do supply long term as you are basically self employed, and it pays nothing into my pension, but i need to do something to keep the wolf from the door. If i can get some primary school experience, then maybe i can pick up a part time primary job. The way i was treated in my last post has really put me off going back into Secondary education for the time being... and with two teenagers and another on the verge of going to Secondary school it really saddens me that behaviour is getting so poor in some senior schools, and senior staff seem to just play the blame game with even the most experienced of teachers, instead of backing them.
Had a good time at the crop yesterday. This months challenge was to make a page about favourite shoes, but as i had made one recently, i had to think laterally. Then i remembered that i had bought Harry his first pair of football boots recently, the perfect subject for a page.
I used the gorgeous Cosmo Cricket earth papers ( i need some more of these!), and sprayed the title letters with gold Cosmic Shimmer mist to match the title. the bird is a Sizzix die, as is the title. The only sad thing about the page is how grown up Harry s looking now :)
