Slide Show

The eagle eyed among you may have noticed that i have sorted out the pages from the Scrap Like You Mean it (SLYMI) challenge on UKS into a slide show on this blog. I found that i had to do this as the now 47 pages had totally filled my gallery on UKS, with no room to post any new pages.

I will update the slide show as i complete the challenge (one LO a week, set on a Thursday on UKS) which will end at the end of 2009. If you want to look at it in more detail, click on the link ( View all images) under the show, and it will tell you what the challenge was each week.

)

Talking of LOs, I made one yesterday at a crop in Bedworth, and another 2 today at the Nuneaton crop. 2 of these 3 were for the cybercrop on UKS. I had also completed a challenge for the Nuneaton crop of scrapping a pet/animal, so the cat got another page... i had to think of a different slant to put on the LO, as have made a number about her, and the number of dead creatures she insists on presenting us with (only the liver and large intestine of some poor rodent was to be found on the utility floor this morning.... urgh!) was the inspiration for the page.

It's a fairly minimal LO for me, K&Co Remake cardstock, Cosmo Cricket ribbon, flowers and buttons by Stampin' Up, and a Thickers title. Swirls are part grungeboard, part patterned paper, cut with a Sizzix die.

I might keep her in tonight, to give the wildlife a rest!

And to think she looks sooo sweet Ann! Couldn't cope with dead things - luckily Max is not that way inclined!
Great LO.

Blue regards anything bigger than a moth as a monster and high-tails out of there. We used to have a cat that brought us gifts of dead things, it is their way of saying thank you to their leader

We had a very small cat for a while that managed to kill and bring through the cat flap to eat a fair sized rabbit - cats!! Love the LO x
