...and having a few extra hours to myself has its advantages, as it has made me
a bit more creative this Christmas. Take yesterday for example, i love a wreath for the front door, but after talking kev into letting us still have a real tree, i didn't want to spend any more. So Katie and I went out into the local country park, armed with secateurs and gardening gloves to coll
ect the local greenery. After an hour or so we altered this plain red cane wreath into the real thing, and i'm so pleased with how it turned out.
We did suffer for our art.... and both of us have the scratches to show for it, but it was worth it :)
So yesterday I decided to record our endeavours, rather than go with the prompt of the day and the page is about our home made wreath.

Your wreath is gorgeous Ann, I would love to be able to do something as beautiful as this.. it was worth the scratches
What a beautiful wreath and happy memories to go with it. I'm sure you and Katie will remember making it together for a long time (even longer now it's scrapped!) and not just because of the scratches!
Quality time and a fabulous result - perfect. Entirely Christmas.
Its a beautiful wreath nn, much nicer than any I have seen in the shops.
