I w
on't say much about this story, except that it happened to Hannah on Wednesday evening, and i had to include it in my journal as it made me think about the very first Christmas and the desperate straits Mary and Joseph were in, that we often take for granted.
For some, that desperation is still with us.
Have a happy and peaceful Christmas.

My goodness! How sad for both baby and Mother. And a very unsettling experience for Hannah.
God bless them all this Christmas.
Such a sad and moving experience Ann, but what a lucky baby to find Hannah there to make sure she was safe in this cruel world. Bless Hannah and Baby Hannah, and good wishes to you all on this Christmas Day.

How brave and beautiful Hannah is -inside and out. Presence of mind, humanity and love all rolled into one, you must be incredibly proud of her. My heart bleeds for the mother and the baby, as you say Ann, the desperation is almost unimaginable. So huge COngratulations to Hannah, who's given baby Hannah an unforgettable chance.
What a moving story Ann. Well done to Hannah ans special sparkles for Baby Hannah and her poor mother.

I'm in tears reading this - such a sad story but well done to Hannah for her quick thinking.....Mgt.
What a moving story, that will be something she will never forget.
What a fab story something your daughter will remember forever, Let's hope baby Hannah grows up in a loving home just like your daughter has. Hoping the mother finds comfort knowing her daughter is being well looked after
