Off topic

Yesterdays prompt was about Christmas surprises, I found this hard to do before Christmas last year, so will probably leave it until after the big day this year. At the crop i go to this months challenge was to make a page about jewellery, and as i have a favourite Christmas necklace, i decided to make a page including this for my journal. The bling swirl was made using more Anitas gems, and as i was at a crop and had the time i added a fair amount of stitching to the page. The sparkly theme also goes well with yesterdays glitterball!
A cyber friend on the do crafts forum received a 'fat book' containing 6x6" pages made by a few of us who chat in the scrapbooking section. I had left mine to the last minute, so needed to do a quick page, as i was in the middle of making my Christmas cards i went with a festive theme.
The buttons are Basic Grey, and the sequins are Doodlebug, i really enjoyed making this page, and i hope maria liked it as much as i did once I was done.
Last day shopping in town for us tomorrow, can't face it too close to the big day, so an early morning for Kev and I... still no sign of snow here.
Happy Winter Solstice to you all, the nights get lighter from here onwards!

Love both pages Ann.
We've had even more snow today and some roads out of town are blocked.
