Snow at Last!

As i type the snow is falling fast outside the window, and it looks as if we are going to have a decent snowfall, hope we can get the toboggan out later on!

The big downside is that it is so cold, and i'm having to keep the heating on, which seems a tad wasteful when there is only me in the house most of the day.

Todays page is about New Years Eve, and as we had such a quiet one this year I decided to take a look back in time to the Millennium which was ten years ago. The children were all still small and believed in Santa, we threw a fantastic party, I just remember it being a brilliant evening... and as i was not scrapbooking back then i hadn't recorded it in any way.

In the time it's taken me to type this the road outside the house is getting slushy, Hannah is supposed to be at school this afternoon, but I don't fancy getting the car out, so i think we will both stay in by the fire. I do want to take a photo of the house covered in snow though, as my tree is still up, just because :)

And Hannah is now jumping about with glee as the secondary school is sending the kids home.

Great idea for the NYE LO. And it makes me smile that your tree is still up. I haven't got the heating on yet because I've been moving about (doing wholesome and pointless domestic chores), but in anticipation, I'm wearing an outdoor jumper and I'm going to put the oil radiator on next to my desk. Brr. No snow here tho'.
