Bargain Stamps

I was browsing a recent Do crafts mag, when i spotted a really cute set of alphabet stamps in the children's Craft Planet section. I managed to track down a set at The Range for a mere £1.99!!!! They stamp up really nicely too, i used inks, but i think they would look great in acrylic paint too.

I made this page about Hannah using photos taken in The Lobster Pot.. a cafe at Portland Bill that serves the most amazing cream teas, with huge amounts of clotted cream, we simply have to go every year! As she was wearing her fave Hello Kitty T shirt, i included a little embossed Kitty made with a recent Sizzix purchase. Journalling block and ticket are Unity stamps, owls are stamped again and paper pieced. Papers are WRMK and Graphic 45... and lots of doodling!
More work tomorrow, sadly the lab tech had a fall at the weekend and won't be in, which does make it very tricky for the department, i have had to cancel and rethink a couple of lessons as the practicals can't be done, as i'm only on supply the inspection has little impact upon me, but i do feel very sorry for the rest of the staff in science.
