Thank God its the weekend!

After a very busy week it was so good to have a little lie in this morning. Only down side of this weekend is that Kev is away on a course in darkest Lancashire (his words, not mine) so he left before i got home from work last night to stay at his brothers in Southport, and won't get home until around 11pm tonight.

I have at last found time to take a photo of the card i made for Hannah's 18th, i used a template from the Creating Keepsakes website to make this shoe card, I wanted to make something unusual, and Hannah has my affliction (she sees a pair of shoes she likes, and has to buy them!) so i thought she would like it. I used K&Co Amy Butler papers, the green is flocked and seemed to suit the theme of the card, some pearly dimensional paint, a pearl brad, and i made a tag to hang the message from the back of the shoe. Glad to say she loved it!

We had a family meal at Pizza Express in the evening, not much time for anything else as we were all so busy last week, but it was a good evening. Hannah asked for a hat when we got there, and i had to decorate it for her!!! I think this photo could be one for the scrapbook!!!

Might pop out shopping later, am working 5 days!!!! this week so i need my retail fix :)( and i did get paid for the first time yesterday too!!

What a lovely birthday card for an 18th. And a beautiful photo of the birthday girl too!
I'm glad to hear you've been paid - but don't go spending it all at once now!
