It's the weekend at last!

Only two more half days to go for me, then it's the Easter holidays, and plenty of scrapping time again. I need to get some serious scrapping done as i start my new full time job after the holidays.

Tomorrow is my first go at being a teacher of adults, as i was very kindly asked by a local crop in Exhall to design a couple of pages, and teach a class. Feeling a bit nervous, but at least i know they won't storm out, swearing and chucking furniture across the room, unlike some teens I've attempted to teach (i hope!!)

This is another page for the challenges Shimelle has been sending me, to use bits of patterned paper ( i have a few!) to make a LO. I have no idea what the papers were as they were all less than 1/4 of a sheet, lurking in my scraps box. I made the border using a Martha Stewart punch both sides of a strip of paper, the journalling block is punched too using a Stampin' Up punch (prob one of the handiest punches I've bought)

Swirls are stamped and some cut out. The flower is made from circle scraps, inked and distressed (OK, screwed up!) with a LLB brad in the middle. Title used some very old BG letters, and the photo is of Hannah and me taking a walk last summer as she was revising for her AS exams.

Finally, a crafter local to me is celebrating her one year of blogging and has some candy to give away, pay her a visit here!

Gotta go, a challenge involving using up loads of flowers is calling me :)
