... and another LO that kills 2 birds with one stone.
This prompt from Shimelle was to use buttons on a LO, and I had also had a look at the weekly challenge on UK Scrappers. This included a sketch with a series of photos that would be ideal for a photobooth set. I was reminded of a single small photo my cousin Kim ( a regular reader here) had sent me that we had taken in 1978 in a photobooth in town, probably in Woolies, as that was the only place I recall using back then. It was such good fun visiting these booths, we took lots fewer photos generally and I remember visiting photobooths occasionally with friends... I just wonder what happened to all the snaps.
So, yet again, I'm using very bright orange and brown papers (very 70's), the title is stamped with added crackle accents, the flowers and swirl are cut using a Sizzix die, the border is punched with a Martha Stewart punch, and there are lots of little Papermania buttons stitched on.... I hope you have been able to read this after falling about laughing at the curly perm and Deirdre Barlow specs....

*smile* It's a fab LO, I didn't fall about laughing - but I did have to look for you! Glad you've been able to enjoy a day to yourself. Happy Easter!
Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by my blog & leave such a lovely comment! Please feel free to lift away on the LO!!
Your LO, in turn, has inspired me to dig out those photo booth strips from school days!! Thanks for that!!!
I'm off to work on the three new challenges & wonder what else Shimelle will be revealing over the weekend!!
Happy Easter!!
Hi Ann
I just knew this photo would end up on here!! It does remind me of my visits to you when we were growing up and the laughs we had together.
Great LO, as always
Enjoy your Easter
Love
Kim
I love the fact that you've still got the photo - I wish I'd kept all the ones I had done in woolies when I was younger.
What a wonderful layout, I really love the retro feel to it.
I didn't laugh Ann (honest!) - I love the LO - and admire the patience needed to stitch on all those buttons!

Brilliant LO, those papers are so fab for the photo-booth pics.. like a pair of curtains you might find in a charity shop, fantastically retro!
