Just like a bus....

No posts for a while, then two come along at once!Thought i would post the last page (so far) I've made of my journal. The prompt for this page is about the strongest memories of this Christmas, and for me it had to be the cold we had in December. It seems odd writing this as the temperature is back up into double figures again, and I felt positively warm at school today (I even opened my window!)

One morning the milk froze in the bottle and expanded up and out, I'd not seen that since I was a child, and frost so thick it looked like snow!! Seems ages ago now. The odd thing was that we had so much snow and ice the children didn't bother to get the toboggan out, so I have no pictures of them playing in the snow this time.

This page is fantastic! I adore the milk photo! In the U.S. milk delivery is rare (though we do have it here where I live as an option) The photo is fantastic and captures such a sense of the cold.

Mum had the same thing with her milk bottles except it blew the bottom out of them and left it in the snow, so the milk was unuseable!! Lol! We never get Blue tits pecking the milk bottle tops anymore either do we?
