I went up to Derby in the summer to collect Hannah after a week in the laboratory inoccculating agar plates and counting the results for her final year dissertation. (No, this isn't the fond memory, but it made me think back to the times when I was a real scientist too!)
It was a really balmy day, so went out for lunch before heading home, and even though we were sat in the shade in usually chilly Derby it was lovely and warm.
Such a small thing, but once snapped with the camera it was destined for a layout and now it's in her scrapbook to look back fondly in a few years.
