Hard Drive News

Well, the bad news is that the hard drive needs replacing, the good news is that the contents currently sit on a friend's computer, waiting to be transferred to a new hard drive.  Good job really, as DD2 did want to make it to 19 :)

In the meantime I managed to get out to a crop yesterday and make all of one page.... the first in over a week.  It is for the challenge on UKS this week, to get inky, use this sketch

a quote from a poem and some stitching. So here's my page, 2 photos instead of one, but I loved all the layering in the sketch.

Well, I forgot the ink at the crop, and had to splatter my page once I got it home, the stitching was made using my trusty WRMK Sew It tool, I know others hate it, but I still love this little gadget, I would never have managed this neat little line of stars without it.

The quote is, of course, from the Owl and the Pussycat (what else); other owl news, DH as been making Katie a (wholly undeserved) wooden owl in the garage this weekend, expect to see it on a LO soon!

The Papers are MME Kraft cardstock, along with Papermania Vintage Notes.
DH is going out to buy me a new harddrive this afternoon, so we can retrieve my data, what a romantic gesture :)

Great pages Ann.
If you can wait a week for your Harddrive there is usually a computer fair on at the same time as the Excaliber PaperCraft show at The Motorcycle Museum (near to the NEC and Birmingham Airport) - just a thought in case you can save some pennies!

Great news on the HD front and on how your DH cares for you.

The layout is gorgeous starswith the extra inking and the stars.

It was especially wonderful to have you join us and hope it didn't make you too tired. Sometimes a different place help the healing process.

Take care my crafty friend. And we hope to see you back to your chipper self at Feb crop.
