A Romantic Page

With February being the month for all things romantic, I was sent a couple of dies from the Vintage Notes range a while back, and asked to make use of them for the Do Crafts Creativity magazine.

I had scrapbooked this photo of Mum and Dad on their wedding day more than once, it's what happens when you really like a picture. The delicate dies were perfect for the wedding theme, and the offcuts even made confetti!

The heart die made the scalloped border under the photo by just using the top of the die repeatedly in shades of red and pink.

In addition I made a card using the doily die, folded and scrunched to make the flower, can't see it going in the post, but for hand delivery it would be fine.

Have you (or do you) made your Valentine's card yet?

Ann you never fail to inspire me, I always pop over here when Mojo has gone walkabout and I always come away raring to go.
love the fact that you can do so much with dies.

Love your page. A great use of the die.

I love the Valentine's Day card! For one who doesn't mess with cards much, you have a great talent for the layering of it all. And the bear is precious.

Well done you!

Brilliant use of those dies Ann the frilly border layers up lovely and it has a tactile-ness about it. The flower/rosette on the card is gorgeous too!
