Bluebell woods

There is a very short period of time when bluebell woods are at their best, and I think we were there earlier this week. The woodland near Nuneaton is truly beautiful at this time of year, one of the things I love is that you can smell the flowers before even seeing them, sweet, sultry with the spice of the woods in the background.
We have been so lucky with the weather in April this year, calm, warm and really unexpected!!

Another fine day beckons, and it's set fair up to Easter Sunday, so we are looking forward to more family days out. Castle visits today, two in Leicestershire that we haven't been to before, and they are less than an hour away.

Not scrapbooking today, just living!

Stopping by from BBFS. Lovely post. Sounds like you will have some beautiful weather for the holiday. It's still cold and raining here in Michigan. Enjoy your day!
