I am preparing a tutorial to share with you next week, but as it's a lot of work I thought I would post a quickie with the Easter cards I made this year. This card is one I sent to my in-laws in Northern Ireland, no ribbons, so it is flat enough to fit in the post!! The stamp is a new one from a lovely dandelion set (I think they are
Inkadinkado, but I wouldn't swear to it!!), images are both heat embossed.... not done this for a while, with a few little gems added. I stamped a lighter version of the image onto the background card too.
The second
cards are ones I delivered by hand, so lumpiness wasn't an issue!! Glittered papers are by Amy Butler, cross cut out using a
Sizzlits die, and the sentiment cut using
Sizzix Eclips, buttons are by
Papermania, as is the knotted ribbon.
Whatever you are doing this Easter have a lovely one. Bizarrely we plan to have a Passover style meal by cooking lamb on the barbecue and eating it with flatbreads and herbs... with such hot weather for Easter we thought we would make the most of it.
