Yesterday I received an e-mail from the owner of my local B&M craft shop telling me that the shop will be closing within the month. I've been going into Stampeezee for the past 5 years since I discovered it, and the shop introduced me to Unity Stamps, Graphic 45 papers and taught me how to use friendly plastic. Although the shop will remain online, it's not the same as going in and stroking the papers.
I will miss the personal service (I'm ashamed to admit that Debbie the owner knows me by name... must be something to do with the frequency of my visits :o ) and the specialist advice given by someone who really knows about crafting. So Hobbycraft and The Range will be my only local craft shops, I don't think they will be teaching me anything new any time soon.
So here is a LO made with lovely Graphic 45 papers bought from Stampeezee (The Wizard of Oz range) that seemed perfect for a page about Katie's prom dress. Lots of bits and pieces of stash used on this
page too.
Cardstock; Bazzill Kraft
Papers; Graphic 45
Hinges; die cut, grungeboard inked and embossed in gold
Letters; American Craft Thickers
Stamps; Martha Stewart
So if you have a local independent Craft Shop get out there and support it... far too many have closed of late.

Beautiful page - magical with the touches of gold.
Gorgeous page for a gorgeous dress.
Love all your accents too.
Such a shame about your craft shop.
:(
Hugs xx
Sorry to hear about the demise of Stampeezee. I've spent many happy hours browsing around in the past, but driving that far is difficult for me now.
Do you know Melbicks? Its on the kenilworth road nr to the A45 and Stonebridge. They have a reasonable supply of crafts and have lots of demoing and money off days. Email for directions if you want them.
The LO of your DD dress is as usual amazing in the details.
Sorry to hear about your local B&M shop! Love the LO, beautiful colours!
