Looking Back

My Mum and Dad celebrate their golden wedding later this year, and looking back at this photo taken in 1963 it got me thinking about their parents.
In the photo they are about the same age that Kev and I are now, so the next generation moved on then, and is moving on now.

I was lucky enough to know all of my grandparents into my adult life, as have my children, there is something to be said for having children young!

Lovely LO Ann... Having children young keeps you young in later life I think. What a lovely way to remember your Grandparents.

Fabulous page, I agree with you about having children young as my boys are lucky enough to know 3 of their great grandparents as well as all 4 grandparents!

What a wonderful way to remember the family! And I agree, having your children young is splendid too.

My mom was 24 when she had me, I was 20 when we had our first, she and her husband made us grandparents at 44 & 45 and if the trend continues I could be a great grandmother in my mid 60s and great great in my mid 80s! Can't wait to meet them all!
