My son has known his good friend since they were both in the infants together. They don't see so much of each other in the day now as Harry attends college, while his friend is an apprentice for a large local motor manufacturer. Imagine son's pleasure when his friend let him know that he had won executive tickets to see one of the Rugby World Cup matches in Birmingham.
Not only that, but he invited H to go along with him!
I did insist that Harry needed to get a few photos for me to scrapbook, and his friend didn't let me down... enough pictures for a double layout.
I made the left hand page using a sketch set by a group I am part of on UKScrappers.
I loved the sketch as it made for an unusual layout for me, most of the content off to one side, leaving the paper I had picked empty.
A great sketch for using with a paper you love, as most of the paper remains on show.
Knowing I am an obsessive scrapbooker, Harry also remembered to bring home his ticket and executive pass.
I made a pocket on the right hand page to slot these into.
I used a mix of Kaiserkraft Class Act paper and stickers along with Simple Stories I Am. Really pleased with the page, just a shame the rugby hasn't been such a success for the home nation.

I do like the colours you've used, it's a wonderful layout. And what a super story too. Glad you got plenty of pics to scrap about it.
