Katie is sitting in, what we call, 'the meadow' reading. This is a part of the garden under the apple trees we have planted with native wild flowers, and only mow most of it in the late summer. It really does look at its best at this time of year, so i always try to get a shot of it.
So a barbecue is called for later (that's bound to make it cloud over!!, it's just a shame that all our close family are away. When we first moved into this house impromptu barbecues were a common occurrence in the summer, as soon as the sun shone we would call up our family and the house and garden would soon be full! My parents are visiting in London, my sister is in Dorset (lucky her!) for the week, and Kev's parents are in Ireland. So we will have to be our own company this afternoon.
I made a page using more of the Cosmo Cricket papers last night, and one of the photos taken over the Easter holidays of Harry and Kev. The paper pieced tree was something i wanted to try for ages, and all the stamps (apart from the alphabet) are from this months Unity Kit of the Month.
Well i'm off to marinade the chicken now for the barbie later, enjoy the good weather where you are!

Hi Ann
Another fab layout but what's this barbecue weather you're all going on about. It's certainly not happening north of the Watford Gap LOL!!!

Gorgeous LO Ann - love the paper piecing! This was the technique I had real trouble with at class last year!
We too had wonderful weather today - how long is it going to last?!!
