Using old stash.

As i await a few goodies bought during the past week, i thought i really ought to use up some old stuff, to make a bit of room. I plan to clear out some of my unwanted stash, might sell some on UKS (not tried this before) and will give the rest away to Kev's Primary School.

So i had a go at making a LO using the Brenda Pinnick Crafters Delight i bought 2 years ago. I have used a good number of the papers on various projects, mini books etc, but still seem to have made almost no inroads into the kit. Even after making this page there's still tons left. Someone on UKS called this kit the 'magic porridge pot of scrapbooking' as no matter how much you use, it never seems to get any smaller!! And I have the Christmas version too..... i need to make my Christmas cards from this one i think!

So for this page i used almost all BP stash, 2 12x12 sheets, ribbon, chipboard and card alphas, and an old Brilliance ink pad. Photos are of Kathleen's (my MIL) birthday gathering back in April.

And despite all this angst about how much stash i have i STILL bought this gorgeous stash from DCWV today in The Range... OK I've been coveting it for months, but that's still no excuse!!! :D

Oh lovely LO...I buy stash in 'binges'; I have a crate paper collection that simpy will not get any smaller, you remind me to look at it again. They're only good value if you use them, right?!! Love that DCWV stack.
