A Spooky Page

I was inspired to make a Halloween themed LO by the weekly challenge on UKS this week. As the challenge ends today, I'm just in time!!!

The photo is one taken in the mines in Matlock earlier this week, and as the journalling details the guide did warn us about very large cave spiders (which were fortunately not to be seen) and bats!

The challenge was to use an autumnal theme, with leaves to embellish, and autumnal colours and journalling.

I made the background card using a Tim Holtz spider web mask, grey, orange and purple inks and a spritz over the top of Cosmic Shimmer mist in gold.

The title is cut with a Sizzix eclipse and stamped, as are the leaves, bats and spiders. I added a bit of distressing and black stitching for good measure and it was done. I haven't made a LO under my own steam, (ie not a class) for a while, so am pleased to have got going again.... just in time for school tomorrow :(
