First Day
This is a page made at the November retreat, when I had a whole weekend to craft... so lots of these pages have a lot of time consuming detail. The photos are of Harry on his first day at secondary school (complete with cute new glasses.) I made the series of borders at the bottom using a Fiskars threading water punch over and over, and curled the edges slightly to give a 3D feel to it. The paper is hand stitched to the cardstock, and I added a small bead every other stitch. It did take a long time, but as I was friends i didn't mind so much as I just chatted as I sewed:) The title is cut using a Sizzix die and Glossy Accents were added on top. Journalling strips and a couple of threaded buttons finished the page. It's funny but even compared to this page, Harry has grown up so much in the last year.

Fabulous Ann! It's lovely crafting with friends isn't it?
It's also frightening just how quickly boys do grow up when they reach Secondary School.
Hugs,
Sue xx
Ann this layout must have taken you ages there is so much detail in it. It looks fab.
