Wednesday already?

When I get to Wednesday the week feels almost done for me as I have my planning time on a Friday afternoon, (ppa). I took my class swimming this afternoon, the first time in the water ever for some of them, it was so sweet to see them start to overcome their fear in the weakest group.

A page to share.....
This very old photo was taken in the late 70s, when curly perms were all the rage (honest!!) So I used the photo's fashions to help me with the journalling. We were on holiday in Weymouth at the time (and yes, i have booked again for the Dorset coast again this summer!!)

The cardstock is DCWV, and I cut the flower shape using a template I have. As the papers are only 6x6 papermania (Birdsong) I used the photo to cover the join, and continued the flower pattern using needle and thread. The title is made using Tim Holtz alphabet masks and ink, and then cutting out the letters. The cute trim is Websters, and the tree is from a Papermania laser cut card, I just chopped it off the front and added it to my page :) I cut the loops using a Martha Stewart punch, and the brad is a lovely fabric covered one, again by Papermania.

Have a good end to the week, whatever you are doing.
