Golden Years

50 years ago yesterday, Kevin's Mum and Dad were married in Bradford, Yorkshire.

Although they are currently 'between houses' having moved from Northern Ireland, and they are living with us, we go up to Leicester to see them today at Kevin's brothers house.

We did have a family celebration back in July, when all 4 boys with wives and grandchildren could attend, and many gifts were given then.  I, however, wanted to make them something personal, but after looking through my photos found I didn't have a good enough one of them together.  Hence I spent the weekend snapping away... only to get one shot (no wonder I couldn't find any!) I was happy with.

For the celebration I made them a box framed layout

using traditional Anna Griffin papers and flowers, with paper pleating, subtle stamping, gems, and a die cut title. I hope they can put it up in their new house eventually :)

Happy Anniversary John and Kathleen.

Oh that's gorgeous. My word, their Kev apple didn't fall far from the tree, huh! It's a gorgeous gift Ann, I bet they were thrilled.
