Hardy's Inspiration

While wandering around Dorchester back in August, I noticed a blue plaque on an imposing Georgian house.

On reading it, it seems that Thomas Hardy was inspired after seeing this house to write that the Mayor of Casterbridge lived here. It certainly is an elegant building.  I used the Papermania Capsule Pigment range as the background papers and the washi tape.

The little shapes (that seem to go so well with the Papermania papers) are Paige Evans Turn the Page 2x2" card squares.

I fussy cut the birds and the flowers are from the sticker book.  The title stickers are Thickers along with some older tile stickers.
A shame the house is now a bank, but at least it is still in use!
