All to

o often i think we don't scrap our memories as we have no photos to support them. I was challenged at a local crop to make a layout without photos, so i thought the story of my Dads evacuation during WW2 was a suitable subject. He was very young during the war, so i had to rely on the memories of his sister Joan. Even her memories are limited, as sh

e is only 15 months older than my dad. Nevertheless, she did recall some key facts, and after a bit of searching on the internet ( i even found a 1930s map of London to include), and a look through my stash for some vintage ephemera, this is the LO i came up with.

The background cardstock was altered using Tim Holtz Masks (barbed wire) ink, an

d cosmic shimmer mist in copper, papers are Anna Griffin, some ancient K&Co papers i bought about 5 years ago!! (Never chuck away old, good quality stash, it could always come in handy), and up to date Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday for the journalling block.
I am pleased with how the LO has turned out, and i think it will encourage me to scrap even the memories that have no pictures to support them.
